Love Lifted Me

My Dear Friends in Christ,

"The Leaven" greets you in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who said, "Greater love has no man than this, That a man lay down his life for his friends.  You are my friends... "(John 15:13).  Then later he adds.  "This is my commandment that you love one another." (john 15:17).

Love was the reason for Christ's entry into this world.  Again we are told in clear and inspired words, that "God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16).

From the above Scriptural references you must conclude that love is a powerful thing  It can lift anything!  With crane-like efficiency and maneuvering love can lift any problem and anyone regardless of size.  Love inspires, motivates, regenerates, rescues, supports, heals conquers, renews, enlightens, strengthens, and saves, to name a few.

Anyone, therefore, who is touched by the love of God in Christ, is being lifted from the doldrums of live to the heights and aspiration and hope.  Thus, don't be surprised when you hear someone says with gratitude and conviction: "Love lifted me!"

Yours in Christ
