SHARING THE MINISTRY

My Dear Friends in Christ,

"The Leaven" greets you in the Name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, whose ministry was, and is intended for all peoples.  Since the harvest was plentiful and the laborers few, He initially called twelve disciples to minister with Him in the surrounding communities.

Ministry is about sharing: joining the others to spread the Good News, and sharing the benefits of the Good News with others.

It is this commitment to sharing the Good News that lead St. John's Church to meet with us last Wednesday to discus the possibility of our two churches, reaching out into the surrounding communities.

The meeting went very well, and everyone was excited by the prospects this mutual ministry holds.  Our next meeting is planed for September 10th at 1:00 p.m. at St John's new fellowship Hall.  As we move along in our plans, I know you too would catch the vision and become excited over the great potential of this ministry.

Every blessing.

Yours in Christ,

Augustine Joseph

Rector
